I am very liberal with the block button & will permanently hard-block if these boundaries are broken after I follow or interact. These are unwanted behaviors I've personally seen or experienced the past few years in the Resident Evil RPC, & I do not want a repeat. I only make exceptions & allow second or third chances very rarely, such as if issued a formal apology.
(1) To start, baseless, exaggerated or falsified allegations / callouts pertaining to my conduct as a writer or my moral character will only be excused unless I'm issued a formal apology. This also includes if you blindly support allegations / callouts, even if there is no evidence, or it was later determined to be highly exaggerated, drama-mongering, or falsified. If you are completely anti-allegation / anti-callout even if there is substantial evidence & multiple testimonials supporting the initial claim, the same concept applies. I am NEUTRAL towards allegations & callouts & ask for both sides before coming to a decision.(2) You cannot distinguish the difference between fiction & reality, believe that metaphor = literal harm, or, you cosign yourself with dangerous puritanical beliefs when it pertains to artistic liberty. Allegory is not endorsement. Symbolic horror is not the same as depicting real-world crimes. I am not morally responsible for my characterโs monstrous actions. & I do not owe you depictions of Lord Saddlerโs immoral behavior being punished. I have no patience for writers who lack basic media literacy, cannot handle fiction appropriately or who are paranoid readers.(3) You callout, dogpile, doxx, harass, threaten, suicide-bait or vague about writers over depicting abusive/grimdark/problematic fiction established & accurate to the canonical source of Resident Evil. You believe the fictional world of Resident Evil is a 1:1 mirror of reality, that fiction for all writers is a form of performative activism, or that roleplaying fictional material from Resident Evil = a hidden agenda, personal fantasy or fetish-mining. This also includes if you believe portraying a politically-charged muse accurately to the fictional source is a form of spreading harmful dog-whistles / deliberate propaganda.(4) You treat fictional characters as real people, above real people, or you heavily project yourself/believe yourself to be your own muse whilst roleplaying, intentionally or unintentionally. This also includes using roleplaying as an emotional crutch or to cope with emotional trauma, & bleeding your personal emotions into roleplay in a unhealthy manner. Example ; Proxies, Persona's, self-inserts, etcetera. I completely separate myself from my muse + the fictional themes that accompany. I am extremely desensitized to horror, therefore, I have virtually no emotional investment in my plots or threads.
